Key terms such as precision, order, visual reduction, clarity, high functionality and depth of detail played a major role in the conception and design of the new website of the Frankfurt architectural firm scharrer architektur—in line with the client's professional self-image. In terms of design, the notion of the joint/gap in particular was worked out as a common allegory for the above-mentioned criteria.

Atelier Florian Markl was responsible for the project as a general contractor and supervised not only conception and design but also editorial tasks and technical realisation. Responsible for the very precise and cross-platform stable programming of the design are the web developers of 23karat GmbH.

The web design is based on the corporate design of the architectural office, which was realised in 2016 by Florian Markl.
