Commissioned by the Department of Product Design at the Offenbach University of Art and Design, Florian Markl developed a book layout which flexibly, formally and semantically combines diverse contents, such as scientific essays, student design projects and empirical studies. The background image concept of half-tone black and white photographs with overprinted graphic elements runs as a (neon) red thread throughout the publication.
